But the Titans have more riding on this.
A new Nashville stadium is looming. A young franchise quarterback offers legitimate hope. A completely reconstructed coaching staff is trying to establish a new culture. This city needs proof that the Titans are finally moving forward.
Sunday is where that proof begins.
This will not be pretty. It will be physical, tense and probably decided in the fourth quarter. But Tennessee has the emotional edge, the coaching familiarity and the home field.
The Jets are walking into a hornet's nest.
